The inspiration for the subject of my artwork comes from my love of and connection to nature. I am constantly searching for new ways to enrich my creativity by experimenting with new mediums and techniques. I work mainly in watercolor but also enjoy working with gouache, mixed media, graphite, and ink. I began painting while growing up in the North Texas countryside and have continued my passion for creating works of art for over 40 years.
I am honored to have been chosen as the Visual Arts Society of Texas Artist of the Year for 2019-2020.
